Staff Team
Our experienced and qualified staff work together to meet the needs of all children in our care. All staff have an enhanced DBS check held on the update service, paediatric first aid training, child protection training, and food hygiene training.
Mrs Megan Downing
Nursery Leader and DSL
I have a BA Honours Degree in Education and Early Childhood.
I also have an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education.
I joined the Chiddingstone Nursery School team in 2018 and became deputy leader and SENCO in 2020. I became the nursery leader in 2023.
Miss Vicki Wallis
Nursery Deputy
I joined Chiddingstone Nursery in 2020 as cover staff, and have since completed my Level 3 in Early Years Education.
I became the deputy in 2026.
I love supporting children as they learn and grow.
At home, I am kept busy with my four children, and outside work I enjoy gardening, local dog walks, and the gym.
Miss Sam Wells
SENCO and IT Manager
I have a CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner.
I joined Chiddingstone Nursery in 2015, and became IT Manager in 2020, Health & Safety officer in 2024, and the SENCO in 2026.
I have a special interest in SEND and Makaton.
Mrs Susanna Still
Nursery Assistant
I joined Chiddingstone Nursery in 2023 and completed my Level 3 in Early Years Education with a distinction in December 2023. I enjoy helping children to grow plants from seed througout the year in our well-beng garden.
I live on a farm with my husband, our two boys, dog and chickens, I love swimming and going for walks in the countryside.
Mrs Victoria Tripp
Office and Finance Administrator
I joined the Chiddingtone Nursery Team in 2024.
I come from a finance background and have a AAT I3 Bookkeeping qualification with distinction.
I have 2 children, and many family pets including tortoises.
